And it comes from TikTok user Jess Andrade, who works as a doctor. The video is flying all over the internet and has already garnered more than 3.2 million likes.
All you need to do is put on warm socks. This warms your feet and helps to 'open' your blood vessels. That way, your body temperature drops and your brain thinks it's time to go to sleep. There is a good chance that you will fall asleep within a minute. You get the same effect by taking a short cold shower or standing outside for half a minute. Because of the temperature change you are fooling your brain. And then you fall asleep really faster, it seems.
