Is your trash can full of paper tissues? Are you coughing a lot or do you suffer from headaches? Then you most likely have a cold. Annoying! But with these tips you will be completely fit again in no time.
When you have a cold, it is perhaps the most important thing that you take it easy for a while. Are you really not feeling well? Then just stay home for a day to get sick. Make a big pot of tea, grab an exciting book from the closet and settle in on the couch with a warm blanket. Before you know it, that nasty cold will be over.

Can't sleep at night because of a stuffy nose? Then place an (old) towel over your pillow and apply Vicks Vaporub, for example. It contains, among other things, eucalyptus, which ensures that you can breathe better through your nose.
Maybe it's obvious, but if you have a cold, it's good to eat extra fruits and vegetables. The vitamin C contained in it ensures that you build up resistance again. And you can use that if you have a good cold.
To be able to breathe properly through your nostrils again, it is smart to steam regularly. If you don't have such a luxurious steam room at home, you can easily do it with a pan, warm water and a towel. First heat up some water (don't use boiling water!) and put it in a pan. Hang your face over the pan and put a towel over your head. After about 10 minutes you will notice that everything opens slowly! Optionally, you can also add some chamomile herbs or Vicks Vaporub to the water.
Take a warm shower and use a lot of shower gel that contains eucalyptus. The warm vapor opens your nose again.
