An opened bottle of olive oil will keep for about six months.
5. Pumpkin
Did you know that you can keep an uncut pumpkin for months? Store pumpkin in a dry and cool place. You can only keep a cut pumpkin for a few days.
6. Canned vegetables
A healthy alternative to fresh vegetables and you can keep them in your pantry for a while. Make sure you have a number of pots, so that even if you don't have a lot of groceries at home, you have no excuse to order a pizza.
