Cold shower Cold is often seen as the culprit in flu and colds, but cold can actually boost your immune system. People who take a cold shower every day have more white blood cells than those who don't, according to research. The cold water would speed up the metabolism to keep the body warm and would activate your immune system. Do you often have the flu and do you have little energy? Ending a shower with a splash of cold water, the cold shock, may well be the solution.
