Those who drink tea have a better organized brain than those who do not drink a cup of tea regularly. This is according to a study by the National University of Singapore and the universities of Essex and Cambridge.

The study looked at brain scans of 36 people over the age of 60. The participants who drank tea at least four times a week for 25 years had more efficient connections between brain areas than those who avoided tea.
According to the researchers, it is the first study to prove that drinking tea has a positive effect on the brain. According to lead researcher Fenk Lei, it appears that tea has a protective effect on brain aging.
