About a quarter of the Dutch population finds it difficult to maintain a healthy diet. When shopping, they are more likely to choose tasty than healthy. This and more is apparent from research by Stichting Ik Kies Bewust.
The Dutch also indicate that they are satisfied with the Ik Kies Bewust logo † No less than 56 percent of the respondents think this is important and even 39 percent say that the logo helps to make more conscious choices. It is also remarkable that 57 percent of the respondents consider themselves too heavy or even much too heavy find.
'To live a healthier life, you don't have to immediately change your entire eating pattern to make a change," says Clémence Ross, chairman of the Ik Kies Bewust Foundation. ’If you switch to products with the logo, you already eat a lot healthier .'
