It's winter and all parents take care to cover well their little bits before taking them to school:gloves, hat, scarf... so many accessories that keep you warm.
But how not to lose them?
At school, it is common to find these objects hanging on coat racks, misplaced by their little owners.
Fortunately, I know 2 school tips to avoid this...
I had 30 kindergartners for many years, and pissed off parents who spent forever looking for the hat or the glove missing on school premises. And who ended up having to buy them back !
However, there are simple tricks to avoid losing them.

Whether gloves or mittens, just sew a long thread of braided wool from one to the other. For the correct length, measure the distance between your child's two hands with their arms crossed.
Then you slip the gloves thus retained into the sleeves of the coat and you let them overtake.
Impossible now to lose them!
Scarves are now banned in most kindergartens to prevent "scarf game" accidents.
But my trick also works with collars, snoods and neck warmers that are very practical for protecting children's throats.
So teach your child the following reflex:as soon as he takes off his hat and scarf, he tucks them into the sleeve of his coat, from the inside, like a small pocket.
Advantage :in addition to not losing them, he will no longer be able to forget to put them on before each recess since they will necessarily get in his way when he puts on his coat!
You will be sure that he will be well covered during recess.
To the hat + scarf couple, I prefer, like all kindergarten teachers, the balaclava , just as protective and much less dangerous. Store the same way and very easy to put on!
