Halloween is coming.
And our children won't give up!
They absolutely want to dress up and go shout "Spell or Candy" to all the neighbors in the neighborhood.
But for that, they need the most beautiful make-up (or scariest!).
So here are some tips on how to pull off horrible Halloween makeup without spending too much money for a successful Halloween party.
Don't worry, these 100% homemade makeup looks are quick and easy to do.
The whole family wants to play the game and make up. But everyone has chosen their costume and they are all very different.
So the budget has already blown and you don't think you can buy all the makeup colors.
Especially since, in the end, it will only be used once ! So, here is my recipe, very simple:
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 2 tablespoons of cold cream
- 5 drops of washing-up liquid
- food colorings (we have them, they are used for everything!)
I mix everything except the food coloring.
I place roughly equal portions in a container with compartments (egg carton style).
And then I add the dyes (2 or 3 drops) to have make-up in all colors.
I make up my entire tribe on clean, dry skin.
The "plus" is that this one-night make-up goes off on its own with soap and water .
Another problem now arises:choosing your make-up and, above all, knowing how to do it! Something that we do not think is easy at first sight.
I don't hesitate to go for a YouTube style site.
Several people had fun before me making makeup tutorials and filming themselves .
For the simplest:the scary little tiger only needs stripes as well as the zebra and the skeleton.
The ladybug ? Nothing complicated either and you can have a little green frog with just two big yellow eyes.
For grown-ups who aren't afraid to scare, here are my more "terrifying" tricks!
- I make a scar with pink and green handkerchiefs that I mix with syrup.
The goal is to obtain a paste that I apply to the skin. I correct makeup when it's dry.
- I can also make beautiful bruises by first applying blue eyeshadow to her skin. Then I add touches of gray everywhere.
Then I put green, preferably around the wound for a more "natural" "blue".
- I disguise myself as a witch, I need a hairy wart ! With false eyelash or nail glue, I place a black peppercorn anywhere I want on my face.
I glue one or more hairs to it (old brushes, false eyelashes, etc.). To speed up drying, I can use the hair dryer.
- Come on, one last one you've all been waiting for, I'm sure:the skin of decomposing monster !
One dose of flour for two doses of syrup, here is a sticky mixture that I put all over my face!
I apply white handkerchiefs on it, also soaked in the same mixture.
When it's dry, I make up the desired color. For more relief, I can also place small pieces of soaked cotton under the handkerchief.
