Recently I received my package from Scent Cloud. Triggered by various messages in Facebook groups from people who bought their aroma diffuser at Geurwolkje, I thought 'I want that too', hence this review. Enthusiastic messages from others can do that to you just like that, that you also feel a kind of desire to try something like this. And with one dog and three cats in the house, it is not at all wrong to spread some nice scents here and there.

I've had my Geurwolkje aroma diffuser for about a week now and I use it every day. I love those wonderful scents in the house! Now I already had two diffusers from another (expensive) brand at home, but they don't work on water-based. You put a cartridge in here and then you can set via an app when you want this scent to spread. They are beautiful, but the scent that is given off is not really optimal in my opinion. And since we have more than enough space in the house, I thought it was time for a review of an aroma diffuser from Geurwolkje.
My idea was to put this aroma diffuser in our bedroom. great when you go to bed and your bedroom smells nice and fresh, right? In addition, with the right essential oils you can really ensure that you fall asleep better and sleep more deeply.
However, the diffuser 'got stuck' in the hall for a while, haha. To try it out, I put it in the hall for a while and there I like it so much to have a nice scent that I didn't want to move it anymore. But since it's meant for the bedroom, I moved it anyway. Our Fragrance Cloud is now smelling on my bedside table. The hall will soon be 'spoiled' with another copy.
This aroma diffuser works very differently than the ones I already have at home. You fill it with a layer of water and then add a few drops of essential oil. Close the cap again and set it with the buttons at the bottom. I can choose with the left button to let it spread the scent within 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours. This way you determine how long it can take to spread the aroma and when the water is finished, the Geurwolkje diffuser switches off automatically. Convenient and safe.
The right button is for the night light that is in this aroma diffuser. You can put it in all kinds of different colors. My daughter thinks that's fantastic. I don't like it at all, so I just leave the light function off.
The big advantage of this diffuser is that I can decide for myself which essential oil I use. And that depends on the mood I'm in. With the diffuser I already have, you can't change cartridges in the meantime, so you're stuck with one scent.
Filling the Nimbus of Fragrance Cloud is really very easy as I described above. You take the cap off, put in the water and a few drops of oil. It is important that you do not put too much water in it, but you can't go wrong with the supplied measuring cup.
Below is a brief explanation of the advantages and disadvantages. Did you know that such a diffuser is also good for your skin? For example, if you suffer from dry skin/skin aging in the winter, such a diffuser can also be beneficial for that.
During the review of the use of this aroma diffuser from Geurwolkje, another advantage emerged for me. I just 'dare' to leave my windows open. I don't like to close everything off, I just love fresh air, especially in the bedroom. But with my Genie diffuser I think it's a shame. Those cartridges are so expensive that I want to keep the smell 'in'. Essential oils are cheaper and with a few drops a day you have already filled your diffuser enough to smell nice.
To be critical ... the only drawback I can think of is that this aroma diffuser works on electricity. So you must have a power outlet nearby. I personally don't think that's a drama, but it's good to know of course. In addition, you have to be careful when lifting the cap before you fill it. There may still be some condensation on the inside of the cap that drips when you take it off. So just keep it upside down.
All in all I am very happy with my Scent Cloud and after my review I also plan to provide other rooms!

I started with three jars of essential oils. That way I can vary a bit in scent if I want. I started with Eucalyptus, Spring Breeze and Coniferous Forest.
Eucalyptus and Naaldbos are real wellness scents in my opinion. The difference between the two for me is that Eucalyptus allows me to become a bit more active, and more focused. Coniferous forest provides some extra relaxation. I like to smell the latter before going to sleep. By the way, did you know that the essential oils of Fragrance Cloud are 100% natural?
In addition, the essential oils also help with physical ailments. For example, Eucalyptus has an expectorant effect (also very good for steaming) and Coniferous Forest helps with stiff muscles, stimulates blood circulation and improves your natural resistance. Both also provide relief from a cold.
