Serious Request is going to do things differently this year. Three DJ teams from 3FM are going into lockdown and will fight the corona virus together.
From 18 to 24 December they will go into lockdown from the former Twenthe air base. The proceeds of the action will go to the Red Cross, which is committed in the Netherlands and abroad to relieve the pressure on care providers in corona care with people and resources.

NPO 3 FM:“Everywhere emergency services, local clinics and hospitals are under high voltage as a result of the corona pandemic. They are overloaded, often with disastrous consequences.”
The radio teams that participate are Wijnand Speelman and Rob Janssen, Sander Hoogendoorn and Sophie Hijlkema and Frank van de Lende and Eva Koreman.
A route from Roermond to Zwolle was actually planned, but it has been postponed for a year because of corona.
