British research shows that those who serve food on a smaller plate hardly eat less than from a larger plate.

During the study, it emerged that only three percent of the subjects who ate from a larger plate consumed more calories than the group who ate from a smaller plate, de Volkskrant reports.
There have been doubts about the board trick for years, because it comes from consumption professor Brian Wansink. He was discredited a few years ago for "scientific misconduct." This prompted us to take a closer look at the trick.
According to the British researchers, it is better to pay attention to the size of your portion if you want to lose weight. So it doesn't matter whether you use a small or a large plate.
