What exactly is that?
The sun radiates with different types of UV radiation:A, B and C.
UV-C does not reach the earth. UV-A causes long-term damage such as skin aging. UV-B let your skin burn. This radiation penetrates the epidermis, which then protects itself by thickening and producing melanin – an organic pigment that you see as the brown color on your skin. However, your skin cannot completely protect itself from the sun. dr. Jetske Ultee:'The brown color is already a sign of damage, but if the skin turns red, it has been burned. Fortunately, you can still do a lot to take care of your skin in the first 12 to 24 hours.'
