In 2003, 41 percent of women between the ages of 18 and 45 took the pill. In 2013, it was only 37 percent. With these figures, the pill is still the most popular contraceptive. The IUD has actually increased in the same period:from 4 percent to 12 percent.
Stable
The total number of women using contraception has remained the same over the past ten years:two-thirds of women of childbearing age use a contraceptive.
