Warning, here comes the big heat coming back!
At night it is often difficult to fall asleep and fall asleep.
Here are 2 tips that I apply to sleep well.
To fall asleep, the ideal room temperature is around 19°C.
It's not easy to maintain such a cool temperature when it's so hot during the day.
Indeed, the body needs cool to rest.
First and foremost, I think about drinking water, lots of water. By being well hydrated, my body does not overheat. Conversely, dehydration can lead to fever, dizziness and headaches.
To lower my body temperature, I stop exercising at least 2 hours before bedtime.
Jogging in the evening, even if the temperature is milder, is not recommended. It is better to get up earlier to go and do your sport, at times when the sun is not yet too strong.
I'm making a light meal, because digestion requires a lot of energy from our body and produces heat.
Then, just before going to bed, I take a lukewarm shower. Not cold, otherwise it will have the opposite effect, the body will stir to warm us up. And I'm going to bed in the next half hour. I love this moment, because I feel really relaxed and fresh.
During the day, I close the shutters while leaving the windows open to keep the interior cool and prevent the sun's rays from heating the house. But if the outside heat is significantly higher than the inside heat, turn everything off.
At night, I make a draft to renew the air and let the freshness of the night enter my room.
If like me, you have a fan, do not hesitate, but above all do not point it directly at your face. To have a current of fresh air permanently on the throat, it is to take a good for the box "angina"!
Despite the hot weather, I manage to sleep like a baby, so I'm not tired during the day, I can enjoy it to the fullest!
