Breakfast is recognized by doctors as the most important meal in the day.
It is therefore essential to pay attention to what you eat during this meal:here are some simple tips so that it is ideal for your health, but also for your wallet!
Breakfast comes after a night of sleep, therefore fasting:the body then has significant energy needs, which represent 25% of daily needs.
To do this, the PNNS (National Health Nutrition Program) recommends 4 different sources.
For calcium and protein. Whether it's a glass of milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, or occasionally soy, almond or oat milk, it's essential.
As for proteins, you can also find them in ham, eggs, cheese.
The most economical :simply milk!
Bread is obviously the food to be preferred, not only because of its price, but also because it provides the necessary elements:fibers, vitamins, minerals.
But to have these elements, choose a wholemeal bread. Avoid baguettes that are too white and undercooked.
If you prefer cereal, make sure it doesn't have too much added sugar or salt.
Pastries are to be banned (too high in calories), except exceptionally, for a one-off pleasure.
It provides fiber and vitamins:it is better if it is whole (for fiber) rather than a juice. But the main thing is that it is seasonal, to combine quality, freshness and economy. That said, a fresh orange that you drink immediately after squeezing it is fine!
It is only used to hydrate:so water, why not, with a few drops of lemon, but it can also be coffee, green tea or milk chocolate (you will then have the dairy product in addition).
A glass of water with a little lemon + wholemeal bread with a knob of butter + a fresh squeezed orange + a glass of milk.
Green tea + wholemeal bread sticks with a boiled egg + strawberry salad + natural yoghurt.
