By 2030, 25 percent of European agriculture must be organic. In Austria this already appears to be the case. More than 26 percent of the agriculture there is organic. Or as they say themselves:'we are world champions, which we have not yet managed to do with football.'
Austria is ‘Weltmeister .' Not with football, but with organic farming, as it turns out. More than 26 percent of the agriculture in the country is organic. As a result, it is now the only EU country to meet the target that the countries have set themselves for 2030 when 25 percent of EU agriculture must be organic.
