This is probably one of the most common symptoms of breast cancer:a lump. If you feel one, go to your doctor for a check-up. But there are many more changes to your breasts that could indicate the dreaded disease.
It is normal for you to lose fluid from your nipple if you are breast-feeding, but if this also occurs when you are not breast-feeding, it is time to have this investigated further.
Even if you see a dent in your breast, it could indicate breast cancer.
You notice it more often when you have your period or that your breasts are more sensitive than usual. But if this feels different than usual or is in the period when you don't have your period, have it checked.
The shape of your nipple can also indicate that something is wrong, such as a retracted / dimpled nipple.
The color change of your breast can also be a clue.
Does your skin become wrinkly or dry or does your skin of the breast differ greatly from that of the other breast. Then make an appointment with your doctor.
When a cancer cell leaves your breast, it often goes through your lymph nodes. This area may then look and feel swollen. This could also be around your collarbone area, so get it checked!
If your breast or part of it is suddenly swollen, this may indicate breast cancer.
