If you are an adult and see that a mole is changing, it is wise to keep a close eye on your mole. It concerns changes in shape or colour, but also bumps that appear or itching that lasts longer than three weeks. If pigment cells in your skin start dividing on their own, a melanoma can eventually develop. But don't worry too much:it takes a long time before that happens. With most moles of five millimeters or smaller, there is nothing wrong. But don't take any chances and get changing moles checked.
