In addition to diet and regular exercise, your weight is determined by another factor; by how you feel about your body. Starting a diet with poor self-esteem puts you at a disadvantage—when you haven't even started yet. As long as you are negative about yourself, you cannot expect positive effects from any diet.
Chronic stress on your body causes your body to produce extra cortisol. And that is exactly the problem:cortisol stimulates the feeling of hunger and signals your body that you need calories.
