It's a myth that you can only tackle one bad habit at a time. Research shows that you can lose weight and quit smoking prima at the same time. In fact, combining the two works better.
Women who lose weight and quit smoking combining , can usually persist in curbing their bad habits better than women who only tackle one of the two bad habits. On average, women who were trying to lose weight were 29 percent more likely to definitely quit smoking than women who do not watch their weight.
Why tackling these bad habits go well together is not yet known. Northwestern University is now investigating the best way to combine the two.
