The annual Pink Ribbon magazine is in the shops from today. It is a magazine without rose-colored glasses containing everything you always wanted to know, but were afraid to ask about breast cancer.
The numbers
1 in 7 women will develop breast cancer. Five years ago, that was 1 in 9 women. Men can also get breast cancer. It is a disease that everyone in his or her environment will have to deal with.
The reality
Pink Ribbon tells the personal stories of patients and shows the broad impact of breast cancer:5 years of no sex, what does an amputation look like, high from the chemo treatment, how do I tell my child that I am critically ill? But also change course and have a baby after breast cancer.
Support research
When you buy Pink Ribbon, you don't just buy an interesting, stimulating and beautiful magazine. You also help to make more scientific research into breast cancer possible. At pinkribbon.nl/magazine you can choose which research you want to support.
