Do you regularly suffer from back pain? You are not alone:about two million people in the Netherlands have back problems. The specific cause is sometimes difficult to determine, but fortunately there is enough that you can do yourself to reduce and prevent complaints, such as your sitting position.
Below you will find three times the correct sitting position behind the computer, in the car or in your lazy chair.
place your chair at the correct height (your knees bent ninety degrees, feet on the floor), with the armrests at the same height as your worktop. Place the monitor fifty to sixty centimeters from your face. Tuck your chin in slightly.
make sure your knees are slightly bent when you press the pedals, put the backrest slightly back. If you sit as far back as possible in your seat and extend your arm, your handlebars should be at wrist level.

sit back slightly, support your neck and lower back with a pillow. Use a footstool that is lower than the chair or put a cushion under your knees.
