The Santé editorial team is participating in the National Sugar Challenge:a week of food and drink without added sugars. That's how it is now.
“The first days of the National Sugar Challenge are going really well for me. I cook without packets and bags and I also leave my unhealthy snacks in the evening. The high temperatures, because that means I have a lot less appetite. I do miss my Alpro yogurt, because I refuse to get that 'sour' (read:sugar-free) variant at home. In the evening on the menu:risotto with shrimps, peas and arugula. Fortunately, you don't need sugar for that. Once on the couch, I remember that there are still a pack of speculaasjes in the cupboard. Yet I manage to resist them. Instead I take a bowl of pineapple and mango. Pride!"
