The Santé editorial team is participating in the National Sugar Challenge:a week of food and drink without added sugars. That's how it is now.
“My day always starts with a bowl of yogurt with granola and fruit. I do make my own granola (#fitgirl!), but it quickly adds a few tablespoons of honey, so it's not that healthy. The yogurt I like to eat – Alpro's 'nature' – also falls off because it contains sugar. The sugar-free version is too sour for me. I therefore decide to opt for a bowl of warm oatmeal with (sugar-free!) oat milk, cinnamon and apple. Normally a teaspoon of honey goes in there, but I leave that out now. A bit boring – and not really photogenic either – but it's fine.
“I manage to leave the sugars alone for the rest of the day. I eat late, so I don't feel like a cookie in the evening. Gain! I wonder if I will be able to leave the cookies for the rest of the week.”
