The coronavirus not only affects us physically, we also have a lot to endure mentally. Loneliness often rears its head, but also fear of contamination and what happens to your loved ones makes it mentally difficult.
A little advice or support is more than welcome and Spotify notices that very well. According to the streaming service, more than ever people are listening to podcasts about mental health.

Sanne Verschuuren is an experience expert when it comes to psychosis, depression, mania, anxiety disorder and high sensitivity. She works at the GGZ and talks about psychological vulnerability and spirituality in her podcasts.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have also made their debut in the podcast world. They were featured on the Teenager Therapy show in the episode that was made because it was World Mental Health Day. In this episode, they went into great detail about the topic of mental health. Markle also spoke about her own experiences. For example, she was quite bothered by all the comments from the press or the population that were given to her. She admitted she almost died.

This podcast by the American Nora McInerny wants to break a taboo. Because why do we almost always give the answer that you are doing well when someone asks how you are doing. Why aren't we honest when things don't go well? In her podcast she asks people about their honest stories, for example about grief, unemployment and financial debt.
