Not true, because bacteria and viruses roam everywhere. So if you have just washed your hands and you open a door, it is possible that you still have a virus on your hands. Moreover, water and soap cannot wash bacteria and viruses off your hands, you need hand alcohol for that. And washing your hands often can also eliminate the good bacteria that live on your skin and damage the skin barrier. Which actually increases the chance of getting sick. It is therefore recommended not to wash your hands excessively. Hygiene is important, but don't overthink it. When should you wash your hands? After visiting the toilet, after working in the garden and before eating.
Not true, because bacteria and viruses are so small that they can easily pass through such a cap.
