Leave the company canteen for what it is this week. With these tips you can bring your own lunch every day.
1. Prepare your lunch while you cook your dinner
It is a small effort to cut some extra vegetables, cook rice or bake chicken. You can make lunch from the leftovers from dinner.
2. Use a day or evening off to prepare extra meals
You can also choose to prepare several lunches on your Sunday off. Store them in handy take-away containers and you'll be prepared for the rest of the week.
3. Also freeze some trays
You don't want to eat the same lunch for five days. So freeze something to take with you later.
4. Start small
If you've never prepared more than one lunch, you might be a little too eager to prepare five meals at once. Start with two or three meals. Once you've got the hang of it, you can slowly expand it to five meals.
5. Use different containers
To keep your lunch as fresh as possible, keep wet and dry ingredients separate until you actually eat your lunch. There are take-away containers with different compartments, but you can also take your dressing with you in a small jam jar.
6. Make sure you don't forget your lunch
So recognizable:if you went out of your way the night before and made delicious wraps, you only discover at work that they are in the fridge at home. Stick a note on your front door, put a reminder in your phone. Certainly when bringing your own lunch is not part of your routine, a reminder is probably not superfluous.
