As of today you can do a Personal Health Check online.
Developed by GPs
There are many online tests and body scans available today to assess your health. Many body scans give false positive results or send people to the doctor unnecessarily. That is why the Dutch College of General Practitioners has developed its own test in collaboration with various patient associations:the Personal Health Check.
How does it work?
On the website you can create a health profile by filling in a questionnaire. The Personal Health Check focuses on prevention. Among other things, you will be asked about your height, weight and eating pattern, but also about hereditary diseases in the family. The results of the test can help you determine whether a visit to the doctor is necessary. You can get access to more extensive health tests for a fee.
Criticism
The test has been criticized from some quarters. A positive test result does not mean that you have nothing among the members. Other skeptics wonder whether people even bother to complete an online health check.
You can find the Personal Health Check at www.personaleGezondnesscheck.nl. At the moment the questions are difficult to reach due to great interest.
