News in cancer research :scientists associated with the medical oncology department of the VUmc Cancer Center Amsterdam have discovered that both healthy and diseased cells are capable of the drug sunitinib (a cancer-inhibiting substance , often used in kidney cancer and gastrointestinal cancer) in vesicles. Due to this process, the drug loses its effect.
