Looking for a way to ease your body aches?
Or even better avoid them!
Cramps or aches often come from muscular contractions due to an effort.
When you play sports, you are likely to have aches a few hours after the session or the next day.
Fortunately, athletes know a few effective little tricks to attenuate or dissipate them.
If you are prone to cramps or you want to avoid aches , the proven trick is to drink milk.
1. Have a glass of cow's milk or vegetable milk before your workout.
2. Take another dairy product after your workout.
There you go, the aches and cramps will now disappear :-)
Muscle contractions create lactic acid molecules that prevent the release of calcium. It is this action that stiffens the muscles, leading to cramps or soreness.
A new dose of calcium will relieve them and reduce their intensity.
Knowing this, I always slip a small gourd or carton of milk into my children's sports bags. !
In addition to their usual stretches, they rush on their dose of calcium, because they love it and deserve it, after their efforts.
And if your child is allergic to cow's milk, there are soy or other vegetable milks, some of which are fortified with calcium.
