Recently Fajah Lourens was in the news:she would no longer be 100 percent behind her Killerbody diet. But is that really so? We asked Fajah himself.
“To start with, I do support my diet, but I see that in most cases diets are temporarily effective. I found that if you don't accept yourself and love yourself as you are right now, dieting may help you lose weight temporarily, but it won't make you happy. Happiness is not in your weight. Unfortunately, this is something many people do think. They think they will feel happy if they lose weight, but if that feeling of happiness isn't there, they fall back very quickly.”

“I researched the difference between the people who managed to make it a lifestyle and the people who relapsed after my diet. I found that, in most cases, the people who relapsed had a negative self-image and thus continuously put themselves down with phrases like:'I'm fat', 'I'm ugly', 'My skin doesn't look right', 'I can't do it anyway' etc. I found out that people often think they are unhappy because they are overweight, but in reality they are overweight because they are unhappy.”
“I've done interviews with different kinds of people who have done my diet. Half of them still managed to keep the result after four years and had made it a lifestyle, the other half hadn't. You see that the people who managed to make it a lifestyle were already happy people at the core. They had no problems, unprocessed trauma or added stress. Before the diet, they did not know what healthy eating or balanced eating was. They had no knowledge about macros and the right fats. They learned this through my books.”
“The half who relapsed, on the other hand, had no self-confidence, low self-esteem or external stress points. By first solving those problems and looking at yourself lovingly (with a buddy more), you can change. Change is possible from love and not from resistance.”
I'm bringing the Killerbody Diet . on January 7th again with a lot of new information about the unconscious, interviews, experience stories and daily motivational assignments to love yourself more and be more positive in life.
In addition, coach and psychologist Henrike Weerstand (known for the book Intuitive eating ) clearly described how to break through patterns. She also made clear analyzes of the interviews so that the readers can identify themselves and are given a handle to solve the problem at the core.
I also added a piece about animal suffering and I hope that this will make people more aware of what they eat. That is why I have put together a 12-week vegan and a 12-week vegetarian diet.”
