In just a few days, the coronavirus has struck in the Netherlands and it is therefore becoming increasingly important to observe personal hygiene, such as washing your hands after urinating. And we are not very good at that in the Netherlands…
A survey by research agency Gallup shows that the Dutch are not so careful about washing their hands after a visit to the toilet. Only 50 percent do that by default.

If we look at neighboring countries, the image below shows that they are much more hygienic than we are. Only our little country and Italy are doing the worst with 50 and 57 percent respectively.
