October 15 is International Hand Washing Day. Something very important to do well and often in these harsh times. But how well are we actually doing? Not always the way it should be, according to research from the University of Michigan. Researchers installed cameras in various places to see exactly what people do after visiting the small room.

The most important discovery was that hardly anyone washes their hands long enough. On average, we wash our hands for only 6 seconds. Some don't even wash their hands at all!
