Many fruits have the most fiber in the skin. So don't peel your fruit if you can. Did you know it even applies to furry kiwis?
You can cut off the top, but you can eat the rest with the skin on. This way you get fiber and all the vitamins that are just under the skin. It takes some getting used to. For example, start with the Zespri SunGold kiwi, which is slightly smoother.
There are some exceptions when it comes to eating whole fruits. Leave the oranges and pineapples aside. But more often than you think, you can just eat the peel.
