Vaccinating in the morning is more effective
British research shows that the flu shot is four times more effective if you get vaccinated between 9 and 11 am.
More antibodies
Two groups of people were compared. One group received the shot between 9 and 11 a.m. Another group between 1 and 5 pm. A month later, the number of antibodies in the blood was measured. That was four times higher in the group that had been vaccinated in the morning.
