Some of the ideas that have won in previous years have been put into practice:
– In 2012, Philip Boerebach won with his idea to allow not only general practitioners but also specialists to visit bedridden patients at home. Good for the patient and it saves ambulance rides.
– In 2011, Anja Vissers won with her idea to seal medicines and provide them with a thermometer chip, so that unused medicines can be reused. This week, a pharmacy in Nijmegen started a pilot.
– John Rietman's 2010 idea for healthcare TV has now been realized.
– The shopping package, an idea of Renate Rammeloo from 2009, that patients discharged from hospital is given to discharged patients in various hospitals.
– Marian van der Hoeven's (2008) care coach has become commonplace in the Netherlands.
