This year, health insurer ONVZ held the Best Care Idea competition for the eighth time.
The winner was chosen from over 600 entries. The Best Care Idea was won by caregiver Nel Wagner (68). Every day she visits her sister in a nursing home. There she saw that many people with dementia have difficulty finding their room again. Nel therefore devised a wristband that plays music as soon as you approach your own front door.
