Nearly a million people have switched insurers this year. De Volkskrant reports this on the basis of an initial inventory by Zorgverzekeraars Nederland (ZN).
According to ZN director Pieter Hasekamp, the percentage of switchers this year is 5 to 6 percent. This is one and a half times more than in previous years. A conscious choice of consumers and a trend break, according to Hasekamp.
