Paying the gym for very little going is is finished !
I prefer to organize myself to do sports at home when I feel like it.
To do this, here are some tips for playing sports like a pro at home.
The gym, I subscribed to it like everyone else. And I quickly became disillusioned. For a very simple reason:I didn't have time to go. The opening hours were however very flexible. Tuesday night, I missed it, either because of another night, professional, this one, or to participate in a dinner with friends or simply to stay with my darling.
And then, in Paris it's never practical to play sports. Taking the metro seriously undermines motivation. In short, after a month of regular attendance, I quickly realized that I was not going to amortize my subscription as planned.
Rather than re-register the following year to repeat this sporting and financial fiasco, I organized myself differently.
I asked myself the question and I found 2 answers:
- Fitness equipment such as a treadmill, exercise bike, weight machine.
- Gym classes with funny names and above all very marketing type body sculpt I don't know what, body attack, zumba fitness ...
These famous sports classes are always the same thing:a teacher who raises his voice to give enthusiasm, students who do not really follow and little chance that the teacher will correct our faults.
Personally, I bought myself a DVD of Yoga on Amazon at €14.90 which I find very good. I put it on my TV, get out my floor mat and put on whatever class I want. If you want to do body combat or body sculpt, I'm sure there's a DVD for that.
For the lessons to be as effective as possible, you have to check in a mirror that you are performing the movements correctly:a very flat back, stretched legs, buttocks back... No need for a teacher, check yourself .
Personally, I like to do sports without equipment, following the advice of François, our fitness coach on Comment-Economiser.fr. I add the exercises proposed by François such as burpees, crunches and the bow in particular.
If you need a device to work up a sweat, that doesn't mean you're doomed to pay for a gym membership. Why don't you buy an exercise bike or an elliptical instead?
On the Proformfitness site, specialist in fitness equipment at discount prices, I have found really inexpensive equipment for you. Using an exercise bike is practical because it is easy to get out and put away on a daily basis and has a very good cardio level.
On Proform Fitness, I saw an exercise bike on sale at €119 instead of €279, i.e. 57% savings. With my €14.90 Yoga DVD, that's a total of €133.90. It's a lot cheaper than a gym membership of over $500 a year. I also do sports when I want and icing on the cake, I can sell my bike after a few years if I want to upgrade to a more elaborate model.
