Calcium is an essential trace element for our body because it ensures the proper development of our bones and teeth.
If you are lacking in it, consider adding an eggshell to your dishes!
Do you know that calcium is an indispensable element to our diet?
We need it every day to strengthen our bones, our teeth but also to ensure the proper functioning of our kidneys , of our heart rate and coagulation blood.
Many foods such as cheese, milk, fresh cream or mineral waters are rich in calcium.
But, if you are looking for a more original method to overcome your deficiencies, keep your eggshells in the refrigerator, they will be very useful!
And yes, winter is the ideal time to cook a good soup, once your preparation is ready throw a few eggshells in it to add a dose of calcium to your meal.
Now wait a few moments and then remove them before serving your hot soup as usual.
Personally, I use a strainer to be sure to find all the shells in 30 seconds, I then catch them with a fork then I immediately throw them in the trash.
Obviously, I don't forget to pour the large pieces of soup that remain in the strainer inside the pot before serving because that's what I prefer. I can now enjoy my soup in peace;-)
