I use several bottles of phy serum a day to clean my eyes and my 8 month old daughter's nose...
...but also for the daily rinsing of my contact lenses.
The problem with these bottles is that once opened they cannot be recapped...
Not super practical, nor very economical when you haven't used everything!
Luckily, I've just discovered an anti-waste trick that I hadn't even thought of to close the bottle easily.
The trick is to turn the cap the other way around to reseal it. Watch:
1. Twist the small cap to open the Phy Serum bottle.
2. Use the serum you need.
3. If you haven't used it all, turn the little cap upside down and insert it into the little hole to close it.
There you go, you now know how to recap a bottle of saline solution :-)
Easy, fast and economical, right?
No more waste and throwing away half-empty bottles!
I understand better now the usefulness of the small picot on the top of the cap.
Physiological serum is a saline solution composed of sodium chloride and purified water.
It is sodium chloride that provides antiseptic properties to phy serum.
You can also use the phy serum to do a nose wash to remove stuck pollen if you are allergic.
Please note that any opened bottle must be used within 24 hours. Do not use the same bottle for the eyes and for the nose.
