This soup protects you against colds, flu, stuffy nose, sore throat and other illnesses that are easily caught in winter .
In addition to doing you good and avoiding getting sick , this ginger and garlic soup is delicious and easy to make. Watch:
- 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely chopped
- 4 spring onions, finely chopped
- 1 liter of chicken (or vegetable) broth
- 50 g peeled and grated ginger
- A sweet or hot pepper, cut into small pieces
- Sliced or whole mushrooms (optional)
1. Put the garlic, onions, mushrooms and ginger in a large, deep skillet.
2. Fry over low heat for a few minutes.
3. Add the liter of chicken broth to the pan.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Stir gently until the ingredients become mellow .
6. Add the chilli last .
7. Simmer for another 5 min stirring occasionally.
8. Serve the soup hot .
