It's no secret.
Bras are uncomfortable and can be detrimental to our health.
So why do we wear them?
Many women, like me, look forward to the time when they can go home and take their bra off.
Once removed, you feel much more free without a bra! And it looks like we're right!
Indeed, scientific studies have shown that you do not really need to wear a bra. Here's why:

In a study led by Syd and Soma Singer, 4,000 women were interviewed in 5 major US cities.
All of these women were between 30 and 79 years old.
Almost all of the women surveyed were unhappy with the shape and size of their breasts and wore a bra just for looks.
And about 50% of women who wore a bra were eventually diagnosed with breast cancer.
75% of those who wore a bra to sleep were diagnosed with breast cancer.
One in 7 women who wore a bra for more than 12 hours a day developed breast cancer.
Why?
The theory, and it's just a theory for now , would be that the bras would compress the lymphatic vessels, leading to a build-up that would become toxic.
Indeed, toxic fluids are normally evacuated by our lymphatic system when the breasts are not compressed by the bra.
It is therefore possible that this is the origin of the correlation between bras and cancer.
Another study was carried out by Professor Jean-Denis Roullion.
He measured the breasts of 330 women over the age of 15 to determine nipple height and breast elasticity.
This study shows that bras don't live up to the promises made to us.
Indeed, they do little to stop the sagging of breast tissue over the years.
Clearly, just because you put on a bra doesn't mean your breasts won't sag as you age!
Also, if the first thing you do when you get home is to take off your bra, maybe you could think about not putting them on at all?
In any case, I've decided, I don't wear any more!
On the other hand, for those who run regularly, it is essential to wear a bra during sport.
