I show you how to have doe eyes in 10 min.
A trend is emerging at the moment:the smoky .
Smokies eyes, these are charcoal doe eyes.
Smoky , like "smoke", so it's a relatively pronounced make-up to accentuate the look.
Everyone swears by it, it's THE makeup to show off.
Deer, in fact, do not have this problem:they already have very pretty almond-shaped eyes.
For us, it's a bit more complicated to set up.
Make a smoky isn't easy, but it's totally doable.
I advise you to try at least once to practice...
Rather than testing 15 minutes before departure!
Here's what you need:
- a black pencil
- a light, golden beige or even white eyeshadow
- a black or dark gray eyeshadow
- a smudger brush
- an angled eyeliner brush (a flat brush cut at an angle to go flush with the eyelashes)
- a black mascara
1. We start with the black pencil . I underlines the level of the eyelashes of my mobile eyelid, like an eyeliner which underlines the shape of the eye. I also put some at the bottom of the eye, on the mucous membrane.
2. I take the black eyeshadow and use my blending brush . I wear black eyeshadow on the mobile eyelid using the brush, on the outer corner of the eye, up to the middle.
The brush is a blender, so we use it to soften the shades of black. We go from darkest to lightest:the outer corner of the eye being the darkest to open the eyes.
3. We can put a little black pencil over the black eye shadow. Apply it on the mobile eyelid, in the outer corner, always to accentuate and open the look.
4. I take my angled brush . With the black eyeshadow, I go over the bottom lashes of each eye. This will accentuate the look even more.
5. With my finger, I apply the beige eyeshadow in the inner corner of the eye, to the bridge of the nose. It is generally the darkest, naturally slightly bluish part of our eyes. By applying light beige, we illuminate the look.
6. I finish with a touch of mascara . This last step is essential. Without mascara, the eyes look crushed because they are too heavy. The mascara will lengthen the eyelashes and help to enlarge the eye.
And There you go ! You have beautiful doe eyes :-)
The important thing in this type of makeup is to play on the contrasts to enlarge and illuminate the eyes.
The outer corner of the eye is very dark, while the inner corner should be as light as possible to give light to the look.
If I find the eye too heavy in black, I blur the inner corner of the eye with my finger starting towards the outer corner. That way I accentuate the contrast even more!
