Sore Throat:My 2 Grandmother s Remedies.

Sore throat?

Autumn is conducive to minor and major nose and throat ailments such as colds or laryngitis.

If, like me, you don't want your sore throat to turn into severe angina or bronchitis, react as quickly as possible.

Here are my reflexes from the first symptoms:a syrup recipe against sore throats and an effective poultice.

Start by making yourself a wonderful anti-bacterial vinegar syrup.

How to

1. Mix 1/2 glass of cider vinegar with 1/2 glass of water.

2. Add 3 tablespoons of thyme honey.

3. Add to this mixture 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.

Result

There you go, you have made your natural sore throat remedy :-)

How to use it?

From the first symptoms, take 1 tablespoon of this homemade syrup and renew every 4 hours approximately on the first day. Then take 1 tablespoon as soon as your throat feels itchy or burns a little too much.

Bonus tip

You can also use a glass of warm water with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to gargle.

The antiseptic, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory virtues of vinegar purify the throat and disinfect it. It's a real natural automatic antibiotic!

The clay poultice as a complement

1. In a bowl, pour 3 tablespoons of cold water and 1 tablespoon of powdered clay. Stir with a wooden spoon. Avoid contact with metals that denature the active ingredients of the clay.

2. Spread the mixture on a compress or a clean fabric made of natural textiles (cotton, linen, etc.). Unlike synthetic textiles or plastic, they do not diminish the effectiveness of the clay. Spread the clay over a thickness of 2 or 3 cm, avoiding getting too close to the edges of my fabric.

3. Rest and place the clay poultice on the throat. Otherwise, hold the poultice in place with a band or scarf and go about your business.

4. Change the poultice as soon as it is dry (after about 2 hours).
