Bacteria spread easily through doorknobs. Therefore, regularly wipe the doorknobs with a cloth, especially now that the cold and flu season is about to start.
Half of the remotes are said to contain a cold virus.
Dust collects easily at the baseboards. When was the last time you took them off?
Clean the inside of your oven and/or microwave thoroughly regularly.
By taking them off regularly, you prevent the top from becoming a dust nest.
Fresh air must enter through the ventilation grilles, which is nice if the grilles are also fresh.
By regularly cleaning the grates of your extractor hood, you prevent that you can hardly get the stubborn grease off.
Prevent your refrigerator from becoming a breeding ground for bacteria. Clean the shelves and drawers again with soapy water.
You put worn shoes and clothes in a sports bag. You (maybe) let the shoes air out and the clothes go in the wash, but they also spend the necessary time in your bag.
Do you use a reusable shopping bag? Do not forget to take it off every now and then and to use a new one on a regular basis. You can put a cotton bag in the washing machine.
Let the washing machine run a boil wash with a little cleaning vinegar or soda, then it will be like new again. Also clean the detergent drawer.
The tops of the kitchen cabinets can become quite sticky due to cooking.
You can easily descale the kettle with cleaning vinegar. Then boil water a few times, so that all leftovers of cleaning vinegar are out of the kettle.
Whatever hangs in front of your windows:curtains, blinds or blinds… A cleaning every now and then is not superfluous.
The shower sponge remains in the damp room after showering, so that bacteria can easily multiply. Most shower sponges can be washed in the washing machine, so cleaning them is actually a small effort.
