Everyone knows the existence of the winter dip. But a summer dip, does that actually exist? You can read it here…
Changes in the season
The summer dip is most common in women between the ages of 20 and 40, but it can affect anyone. In some cases there is a genetic predisposition, but also the heat, the fact that everyone is on vacation except you, or a different rhythm can cause a dip in the summer.
Not everyone is happy with longer days and the sun…
– If you have relationship or family problems, it can be annoying to spend extra time with them during the holidays.
– The long, warm evenings call for outdoor cafes and park hangings, but if you don't have anyone to do that with, you can feel pretty lonely and your confidence can take a hit.
– Some women are very insecure about their bodies. Bare arms, legs and bikinis enhance the dip.
What can you do about a summer dip?
Summer is something different for everyone
If you enjoy watching series indoors while the weather is nice outside, there is nothing wrong with that and you certainly don't have to feel bad about it.
Adjust your holiday to your feeling
Are you suffering from a summer slump? Go on vacation to a place where it might bother you less. Is your dip really bad? Then a holiday in a different season might suit you better.
Work on your confidence
A jeans is not really comfortable in the heat. Put that uncertainty aside and go down the street with bare legs. Most people are way too busy with themselves to pay attention to your legs (which there's probably nothing wrong with that!).
