Plastic is not only a problem for nature, it can also affect your body. You can ingest some of it without noticing – and that can affect your health.

1. Buy as many plastic-free products as possible and separate (plastic) waste.
2. Look out for quality marks for microplastic-free products:European Ecolabel, Demeter, Cosmos Organic, Nordic Ecolabel, NaTrue, Zero, Plastics Inside.
3. With the Beat the Microbead app from the Plastic Soup Foundation, you can scan the barcode of products to discover if they contain microplastics. The app recognizes more than five hundred microplastics.
4. Replace your plastic water bottle with a drinking bottle made of glass, stainless steel (stainless steel) or go for a plastic water bottle that is phthalate and BPA free.
5. Store your food in stainless steel or glass containers and drums.
6. Use metal or wood kitchen equipment.
7. Wear as few synthetics as possible and keep them in a closed cupboard.

9. Ventilate your house daily, clean it and let it ventilate well.
