Do glasses make you less susceptible to the coronavirus? It seems if we are to believe this research.
A small-scale Chinese study shows that spectacle wearers are less likely to be infected by the corona virus. For example, a Chinese doctor noticed that there were few glasses wearers in the covid-19 department of his hospital. His own research showed that only 6 percent of patients who were nursed before corona wear glasses, while in the region there are 30 percent of the population who wear glasses.

It is not yet entirely clear how this happens. Glasses may act as a barrier against aerosols (tiny drops) or glasses wearers may be less likely to rub their eyes with their hands. Further research is therefore still needed.
