The whole world is crying out for protective equipment against the coronavirus, but those who need it most are of course the health care providers. Because there is a threat of a shortage, a nice citizens' initiative has been started to get the mouth caps to the right people.
Individuals and companies are linked to healthcare providers via the supply and demand site mondkapjesnieuwe.nl. The site is a non-profit citizens' initiative and brings together supply and demand for face masks on a small scale, so that the face masks that are still available end up in the right place.

Initiator Omar Kbiri:“From my personal environment, I saw a great demand for face masks in the healthcare sector. At the same time, I also heard noises from parties that seemed to have more than enough. With this temporary platform, I hope that supply and demand will find each other more easily and that the exchange of mouth caps will run more smoothly and faster. In this way we contribute to the situation and together we make a strong case against the virus”.
